New section displaying a selection of San Diego, California, travel pictures is now open at Cafe Press. Currently available are photos of Horton Plaza, San Diego Gaslamp Quarter, Convention Center rooftop patio, San Diego skyline from Point Loma, Pacific Ocean sunset from Ocean Beach with kyaker, and Balboa Park fountain.
Our inventory includes 700 pictures and more will be added to this gallery daily. The picture below is of Horton Plaza mall, an enclosed outdoor shopping mall downtown.
Just learned of a new directory called Eurekster and signed us up. They are in Beta now. It looks like they only allow one web site to claim “stock photography” and we got it.
Sites are reviewed by hand so it may take a while before we appear, will let you know.
We need to return to scanning our film from San Diego, California so we can burn the cd and forward to photobuyer.

New animal photographs have been added to our popular Christmas Decorations section of Photo Accents at Cafe Press.
Alligator, tiger, orangutan, elephant, and giant panda have joined eagle, macaw, camel, bull dog, ferret, parrot, giraffe, tropical fish, lizard, lion, and raccoon. Each hanging ornament picture is on high quality porcelain with a ribbon for hanging included.
Hanging ornaments make fun favors for holiday parties, add a special touch to gift-wrapped packages, cool overhead fan pulls, and make unique Christmas tree ornaments. 
We returned from 6 days of documentary photographing in San Diego, California, with 20 rolls of slide film. Now those slides must be reviewed, sorted, and then burned to CD for submission to photobuyers.
This trip we photographed Coronado, including the ferry trip and del Coronado Hotel, the Omni Hotel, Marriott Hotel and Marina, the Convention Center, Embarcadero with the San Diego Public Arts Project original sculptures, Seaport Village, Petco Stadium, the Zoo, Ocean Beach, and Point Loma. Ocean Beach offered a beautiful sunset complete with kyak. San Diego’s nightlights made fascinating skyline images after dark.
Fortunately, we worked the Embarcadero and sculpture on the first day when the sky was blazing blue. Not a cloud in site. The morning fog rolled in on subsequent mornings laying a white blanket over every building.
Pedicabs, ferries, and trolleys made interesting transportation images. Even the airport had a photogenic delicate sculpture reaching up to a glass domed ceiling.
Will post some images later today if the initial review is completed. Still have 4 boxes of slides.
This is our second trip to San Diego. Last time we worked in the Zoo, in Balboa Park museums, Legoland, Sea World, the Embarcadero, Sea Port Village, Old Town, and Sea World.
So far this trip, we worked one day at Horton Plaza, and surrounding area making pictures of statues, stores and interesting architectural details. The second day was spent photographing the Embarcadero, Sea Port Village, the marina, Marriott Hotel and marina.
Horton Plaza has really colorful adobe walls, and store fronts all competing for attention. Levi has a large store well stocked with the latest styles. There are so many restaurants you could eat for two weeks and never repeat the menu.
San Diego is encouraging sculptors with many prominent displays of work. The Embarkadero walk is lined with tree themed sculptures. Lots of original work by cool artists. Will post some pictures after film is developed.

Christmas design preview: 
Today we prepared a submission of animal pictures on slide film for a photobuyer who doesn’t want digital scans on cd. This is the first year that about 50% of our buyers wanted the cd and not the original film.
